Namibia - Nakop To Sesriem, Jun 17-27/2005

First time I free camp in South Africa. It just happens to be right next to Namibia. You got to love these flood tunnels.

Entering Namibia.

The perfect campground, a nice rommy dried up river bed. Had to yell at the baboons a few times to get rid of them.

Camping by the railroad track.

Fish River Canyon, the second biggest canyon in the world.

My first and only river crossing anywhere in Africa. Man, Africa was bone dry for the little more than a year that I was there.

Camping in the desert.

Another perfect flood tunnel.

Now that's windy!!!

Maybe not such a perfect place. Had to camouflage my site when I discover traffic just in front of the opening.
